What is NCC?

Northfield Community Church

Northfield Community Church, NCC, is a congregation deeply committed to its mission of being an oasis of grace, a fellowship of faith, and a community of compassion, service and Christian love. We define ourselves as individuals and congregants who value the past, live in the present, and look forward to the future.

What We Believe: Regardless of when and for what particular reason the church gathers, we look to the Bible as a guide and to the life and teachings of Jesus as a compass for daily life. In the spirit of Jesus' ministry we are an inclusive church, welcoming people from all walks of life. We are also a congregation that puts to work its faith, so there are a variety of outreach ministries that members regularly engage in, both close to home and far away.

You Will Find a community with open doors, open minds and open arms. You will find kind and caring people. You will find a lively, earnest and prayerful fellowship. You will find people who don't see eye to eye all the time, but who remain devoted to walking arm in arm. You will find there is plenty of room for doubts and a place to lay down your brokenness. You will also find that easy faith is not promoted here, rather one that is willing to ask of itself hard questions, and then to seek intersections between faith and daily life. You will find people of integrity and deep faith. You will find people who are trying to walk the way of the Jesus in whose name we have been gathered up and called as the church.
