Our Music Director, Tim, will present his final doctoral recital on Sunday, October 20, at 3:30pm in Galvin Recital Hall at Northwestern University. This event represents the culmination of his years of graduate study and is an important milestone in the completion of his degree. The program will feature a mix of contemporary and traditional pieces, centered on recontextualizing and questioning the history of Americana music—one of Tim’s key areas of interest. The repertoire will explore this theme by creatively manipulating and reworking well-known hymns and patriotic songs. It will be an outstanding afternoon of music, and you’ll also see some of our talented staff singers in the choir in addition to a roster of fantastic students and professionals.
