Family Promise is coming back to NCC!!

July 9-16 and

July 30 - August 6

NCC will return to hosting families from Family Promise, a non-profit organization that helps families with children in homeless situations return quickly to permanent housing. While these families prepare for housing, they are housed in a variety of churches and synagogues in the Northshore area. These families come to NCC for dinner, overnight accommodations and breakfast, then go to jobs, schools and other activities. 

NCC will be hosting families for the two weeks: July 9-16 and July 30 - August 6. We need your help to make this a positive and comfortable experience for these families. Please consider volunteering or donating for the following: 

Volunteers

·        Dinner host, greet families when they arrive and provide assistance with dinner and evening activities. 

·        Dinner provider - bring dinner, order for delivery, donate restaurant gift card for delivery order

·        Overnight host - arrive at church by 8:00 pm and spend the night in the church and assist guests with breakfast and departure in the morning. 

Donations

·        Food and other supplies will be listed for sign-up on Sunday, a sign-up genius is also being created

·        Gift cards for grocery stores to purchase supplies needed
